i'm in a "can't-reliably-sex-'em" phase right now

but my theory (when i am not in this phase) is that females have a smaller leg length to body width ratio... and i swear there is a difference in terminal legs. some poly's have chunky, and er more highly marginate (i think that is the word i want), terminal legs and some have less chunky, more smooth legs. considering the easiest sex dimorpho for S. morsitans is in their terminal legs it doesn't seem all that far fetched to have another species with a similar tell

also, i believe Androctonus_bic has a post on AB that details another dimorpho...something about looking at their hooty-ha-ha area =P

Where can one find a copy of the "Synopsis"? Or...what is the publication's full title. Maybe I can ILL it.

I really need to get better pictures. I want to try flash pics on a dark back ground. I think it might make the centipede look pretty neat.

still got it
still yellow
still tiny

and i am excited! i should be getting a "blue leg ghost morph" of similar size... i am hoping to try and mate them together!

interestingly the BLGM i am getting came from joshua tree area and the other ghost morph location i know of is 29 palms. according to my VERY bad navigational abilities those to locations are somewhat close together. of course, my last navi-guess was 60 miles off on a 30 mile guess...

this little fellow finally died.

a little more than three years with me and it maybe got 20% longer.

i wish i had mated it... but i didn't have any other tigers that i thought were adults at that size

oh well. i just need to look in that place for another few years and find another weirdo =P
