Crazy Daves Inverts MIA???

Tried to check his website the past few days and its gone? You get this error message-Sorry, 'crazydavesinverts.com' does not exist or is not available.
I had heard he may have been having health problems, anyone know if he's still in business or maybe just let the domain go??...

I don't know. I tried to contact him a couple months ago to buy something from him, but didn't get answers to my messages. Hope he's OK.

Don't take this as 100% fact but I was wondering the same thing so I looked around and recently he recieved some bad reviews from people on Arachnoboards. These reviews mentioned that he had shipped out spiders with nematoads and apparently had an outbreak. It seems that he has ignored some of those customers and eventually just disappeared.

It looks like he just bailed on the hobby. I would like to hear otherwise but this is what the evidence points to.

Does anyone have any different information?

Fonjo, the case with tarantulas with nematodes was only one that I know of and that is was reported on the AB feedback section.. It happen to some friends of mine, they got some Ts from Dave and they were infected with nematodes.

We don't know what happened to Dave, we knew he was having some health problems, perhaps that is why this tarantulas got to custumers without him noticing their condition.

Dave gets his stock from impoters and other suppliers. he feeds them with crickets that perhaps you and I get from Petshops or buy on line.

So it could have happen to anyone.

Anyways I hope Dave is OK and hopefully he does good to our mutual friends, so they can then modify their feedback on AB.

I had read the previous post about the nematodes, but still surprised that his website is down now. Hopefully he'll be back and its not a serious health matter causing his hiatus.
