Is there is anybody out there, just nod if you can hear me. Sorry, couldn't help it. Anybody living in the Omaha area who would like to get together send me a message and maybe we can set something up.

Patrick,
T keepers are VERY rare in Nebraska. BUT.. KJ and I are both in Nebraska. Botar from Botar by 8's is near in Olathe KS, and Joy Reed is in southern KS...
That is about it!
KJ will pop in and say something some time also... if you are new to the hobby or want to meet an awesome group of folks, think about that ATS conference!
Tickets are running about $315 from Omaha to Phoenix right now...

Yep, I'm here too...
I've sent Patrick a few PMs. It seems that most of the keepers in the area are solitary or "closet" keepers and dont get out online much. But I guess that's true for the greater population as well, or all of these boards would be overrun with people.

KJ,
You are correct there are many who have a G. rosea from PetCo or maybe an A. avicularia or A. seemani. I do know of few folks who have T's, but are more reptile folks with a few spiders hanging out in the same rooms.
It'd be nice to get more folks into the hobby, even in good ol' NE. We can spread the word and hope. And don't forget to promote the conference, if a person can make that, I promise they'll be hooked for life.

KJ and I are supposed to hook up later today (May 10th) at Paradise Cove pet shop in Bellevue. Looking forward to it. Later the same day. We met at the pet store. KJ seems like a good guy. I almost wanted to say kid but that would be showing my age. Really nice guy and when he says arachnoholic he MEANS it! You could almost see his eyes glaze over when he talked about which ones he wants next. He brought in a molt that he stuffed and put into a plastic box. Too freaking cool. Looking forward to the next time.
