Hi....What is the best substrate for an Emperor? Is it just peat moss, or a mix with coco fiber, or just coco fiber? What percentage of each if its a mix? I keep finding conflicting information from websites. Thanks so much for the help!!

I have used both, mixed about 50/50. I wouldn't sweat the percentages though, just get it deep and keep it moist.

I've used both alone and combinations of both. Peat has the advantage that it's cheap and somewhat mold resistant (although it can be very messy and dusty to work with), while the coconut products hold burrows better (IMO) and are not nearly as dusty and messy to work with, BUT is more expensive and less resistant to mold.
I used to use a mix of the two in order to get the "best of both worlds" (as with Christian I had no set ratio), but since I now keep most of my critters in a spare bedroom and don't want to get peat dust all over the house I use coconut products almost exclusively.
