Tonight at Exotic Pet World in the Berkshire Mall, Mr. John and his team will be showing folks how to properly set up an enclosure for their pet tarantula. We will start at 6PM by showing the proper way to house terrestrial & arboreal spiderlings. During the second half of our program, we will be constructing a large museum quality display enclosure. So if you have a tarantula, want a tarantula or if you just want to join in the fun, stop on in. 6PM-8PM Free and open to all ages.

The show went great! Ended up staying until closing again, just answering questions.

When we finished doing about 10 smaller enclosures as part of our demo, the owner of the store came over with a giant 30 gal corner tank and said "This is for you guys, I'll be placing it in a corner of the show area as a display only, it is not for sale. It belongs to you and your team, and you can put whatever you want to show off in it." So, now my program has a display tank at the Berkshire Mall. I'm thinking it would be perfect for an A. avicularia colony.

Eventually you'll have only one or two Avicularia, they're not really communal althougIh I've seen zoos try it. Those 30 corners are sweet tanks though!

I love the way you and your kids do things Mr John.

Afraid Christian is correct, Avicularia species just don't get along together. However, Holothele incei have demonstrated the ability to live together and I just happen to have a few sac mates doing that exact thing. How about I offer to donate a few to the cause? Send me a PM and we'll talk.

Sounds good to me Patrick. I just got back from a teachers conference in Boston and I was actually asked to speak briefly about the my program and the connection to the ATS. Let's just say we should be seeing a large number of Massachusetts teachers appearing on the boards soon. People couldn't believe all the support we have received from the ATS and it's members.
